Dhruva Release Date Pushed To December 9th

Putting an end to the rumors of postponement and unprecedented delay, the makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming film ‘Dhruva’ has finally announced the release date as 9th December 2016.

The film was earlier supposed to hit screens on 2nd December, but in the aftermath of demonetization, the makers seem to have decided to push the date by a week to have enough time for promotions and let the new currency notes come into circulation. It may be recalled that Dhruva was first considered to be a Dasara release, but Charan and makers pushed the release date as they didn’t want to compromise on the quality for the sake of meeting release date deadline.

Dhruva, however, will have to face stiff completion form Suriya’s ‘S3’ which will be releasing just one week later, on 16th December. As both are cop movies, an interesting box office clash is in store.
